Review: I havent read the book, so I'm not seeing it as an adaptation, and independent film. (From what I've heard it is quite far from the source in any case.) First zombie movie watered down, and the blood and gore? Calm This idea would lose much of (pun intended) of horrible fans in the audience. How to capture your attention then? By stringing you along on the edge of tension and suspense from beginning to end. It does a very good job of keeping this power even without the standard elements of horror horror flicks.Brad Pitt fits easily into the role of family man desperate to keep his family safe. It is easy to root for him and participate in his urgency. Of course fills his charm and keeps the film from its flaws (and there are many!) Not least of which is a gaping plot holes and loose direction.The its audience in the theater seemed to have fun together crying and allowing yourself to be entertained and played with . There are a few funny scenes (intentionally or not). If you are ready to quit as a critical analysis of the film, you'll probably start using it.After all, if not a zombie movie ever to be believable? |
