Review: Lost Vegas was the most exciting movie I've seen in ages. Being of a certain age, which I found touching and refreshing.All wonderful cast. Mary Steenburgen was a real treat. I know who took the music and recently brought to the screen! De Niro was great as a crusty widower with a chip on his shoulder. Morgan Freeman was, as usual, larger than life. Kevin Kline is always a joy to watch (I have never forgotten the shooting in A Fish Called Wanda). And last, but not least, Michael Douglas was perfect with its image of a person to resist the aging process. If you think that this film is not perfect, you're probably too young to appreciate older. Buy movies and hang on to it until you're in your 60's ... then you'll know for sure! All in all, if you want to feel good, really good, after seeing this film, head to the door today and enjoy the ride! |
