Review: Lost Vegas was the most exciting movie I've seen in ages. Being of a certain age, which I found touching and refreshing.All wonderful cast. Mary Steenburgen was a real treat. I know who took the music and recently brought to the screen! De Niro was great as a crusty widower with a chip on his shoulder. Morgan Freeman was, as usual, larger than life. Kevin Kline is always a joy to watch (I have never forgotten the shooting in A Fish Called Wanda). And last, but not least, Michael Douglas was perfect with its image of a person to resist the aging process. If you think that this film is not perfect, you're probably too young to appreciate older. Buy movies and hang on to it until you're in your 60's ... then you'll know for sure! I was told again that someone really big so most people loved this movie was because of the special effects, but there again, there is that realization in itself? To have your audience enjoyed the movie because of how realistic and cool you can make it look and feel? I've never seen another movie with good effect, than this, ever. I am sure that not one of those horrible movies that came out recently dinosaur effects could ever live up to the size of the Jurassic Park.I I always love going to Jurassic Park for ingenious, mannè ; v. Its amazing and incredible script though, as well. It was so well designed and executed, where most cases have not expected it to be nothing but high levels of adrenaline rush and action nonsense, that there was an exciting action, it just would not be so cynical. Many people who have flu Jurassic Park really only have all the same reasons the average movie-GOER would be disliking a movie, but I havent heard any fully describe and explain, well, what they really thought he was not guilty of this film, which gave me a reason to believe that Jurassic Park is a masterpiece, I, myself, have no odd perfection with this film, except that I've seen other films that I've enjoyed more. . . just a little more.
