Review: When Alice (Marisa Tomei) and Phil (Tom Everett Scott) must leave the city for a business trip influential, are forced to rely on three children , Alice Hellions their parents, equally imp Artie (Billy Crystal) and Diane (Bette Midler). Hilarity ensues. Watch a movie with Billy Crystal to laugh, and does not disappoint. Crystal keeps in line with relaxed mind that made his Oscar hosting so much fun. Parental guidance is a return to what made him famous in the first place: friendly, fun family comedy. Bette Midler is one of the only comedians fairer sex could play against Crystal chewing stage. They make a great pair, and share the laughter equally as hopeless place, parents secretly genius. The script was written with a focus on being a family audience, which does not mean that the individual or the date can not enjoy it much. He was laughing in the first ten minutes, and was a constant procession of comic response. Marisa Tomei is a breathtaking beauty. She steals her scenes with unparalleled grace, no matter the movie, and here has a different mother than their parents. The comparison makes for hilarious in itself, especially when Crystal and I interact. No mess, no words, no vulgarity. Parental guidance is a refreshing mix of old and new that proves that laughter become classics so great. Well done. |
